The Upper Iowa Corridor stretches 26 miles between the cities of West Union and Oelwein, which includes the cities of Fayette and Maynard. 

The 4 cities combined have a total population of approximately 13,100 residents. However, the total population within a 15 mile radius of Fayette is approximately 32,000 residents. About 650 businesses' exist in the corridor, which also has several recreational facilities - including the Volga River area and golf courses - as well as public schools and churches.
